Licar International

LICAR is an international reality, known by the top furniture producers in Italy, as well as in foreign countries, for the quality of doors that it manufactures.  LICAR has been able to develop and progress in line with both the upcoming market and its customers' requests starting from the 70’s, when LICAR, starting from a small business to supply furniture makers of Veneto and Brianza regions of profiles, enlarged in the next ten years till Northern Europe distributing to large-scale retails trade, to reach the USA in year 2005 where a sister company called “LICAR USA” has been established.

The peculiar characteristic of the company, besides products which are the outcome of research, is a special approach to the service summarized as  : “starting from service to influence the production”.

All this implies a constant updating of production and service systems which are most appropriate to the customer’s requirements. We can therefore speak about a “Licar System” which can be extend to new product categories that are coming side by side with kitchen and furniture doors as for example wooden profiles and flat pack furniture.

LICAR facility and automatic warehouse cover a surface of 45.000 sq.metres indoor and 100.000 sq. metres outdoor. Total number of employees is roughly 300 people.

Licar USA

A wide and structured market with peculiar needs of product personalization and where the lead times required are extremely short, needs a local company presence.
Licar, originally present in an indirect way, during year 2005 decided to build a new facility in Lexington - North Carolina, called LICAR USA, with an own productive department which is involved in the distribution on the american market together with local partners. Among those, a producer who is dedicated to large-scale retail trade supplying furniture and kitchens.

Besides completely italian know-how, Licar brought also a dedicated Lean System, studied and realized for the american reality, with machineries and productive lines which starts from semi-finished goods, such as profiles and panels, to obtain a finished door.

The order, from roll-out to delivery, can be dispatched in three days only, as per customer’s needs.
Licar USA works in close cooperation with the mother company in Italy which grants a regular presence of the managerial and technical staff in place.

Many investments for the expansion and strengthening of LICAR USA are scheduled for the next three years. LICAR USA, in the same way as LICAR INTERNATIONAL for European market, is the partner of those producers who are looking for a valid supplier for furniture components and flat pack furniture. Thanks to a customer focused organization, LICAR can supply door to door products, including customer service assistance.
