The production of profiles such as plinths and furniture frames represents the origin and at the same time another aspect of LICAR’s capability of diversifying the products. LICAR is born in the 70s as a company producing profiles, plinths and frames specifically dedicated to classical furniture.

This manufacturing process needs a full knowledge of materials and a strong control of all production phases: to obtain a profile suitable to the piece of furniture it is destined to, different processes are needed both for the most simple elements to the most complicated ones, like for example particular sizes or curved shapes. To obtain those products, LICAR uses various machineries developed thanks to the experience in this particular field.

Profiles and cornices, which can be made also on customer’s drawings, are made of WOOD, MDF or finger joint and can be wrapped with paper, polymer or veneer.

The product can be UV lacquered or a patina can be applied, to be in harmony with classic furniture.
